About

We are a very small, very high quality Maine Coon Cat in home breeder located in Central Pennsylvania.

All of our cats and kittens are registered with either

The International Cat Association (TICA) or the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) sometimes both and now American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA) too !
Most of our breeding cats all have Championships from one organization or another. Some of our cats also come from Europe and also have FIFE registrations, so they have the "look" everyone loves- those EARS!! Several of our cats are from our good friends at Felissimo in the Ukraine- they breed in a very small home program just like ours.

Our amazing stud boy Roger is from our own breeding and a very VERY special son of our well loved Bishop.  Thumbelina is also a Bishop daughter we were thrilled raise- she's become a wonderful mother !

Our cats are huge and healthy and have the wonderfully amazing personalities Maine Coons are known for. They also love of playing in the water, travel very well and are super easy going with other animals including other cats.

Our cats are part of the family and live in and around us all the time with dogs and children.
We are not a "cattery" as such keeping our cats isolated and separate.  They live underfoot and overhead, not in a caged environment so our kittens are always raised cage free!

Spirit Puff Cat, lives with us too.  She's a white domestic long hair cat who was rescued off a mountain road by me almost a lifetime ago.  She was as tiny as the palm of my hand and barely alive when I found her.  Now almost 23 years later she is still robust and seems to have a lot more than  9-lives for sure..... we are privileged to still share the house with her at this wise old age.

Spirit is the reason I decided I "had" to have a Maine Coon Cat, which lead me down this lovely road with the breed.
She is truly a kindred Spirit in my heart.

Spirit passed away October 2018 at nearly 25 years old.....she is with me every day- I hear her..... I miss her more than words can say- my constant companion for half a lifetime.

~ Our Home ~
When I got my first Maine Coon Cats, I was living in Ontario Canada in the Bay of Quinte West area on property bordered by the "Cold Creek" river. My working German Shepherds and professional dog training business are called "Cold Creek" because of living there on that wonderful meandering creek. I moved back to Pennsylvania to a wonderful farm on Knight Road in Gettysburg after living away for eleven years.
I combined the names and call the farm homestead "Knights on Cold Creek Farm"

My original pair of kittens, Ripley and Bishop, came from the Dotcom Maine Coons in Ontario Canada. I knew as soon as I spoke to Jane Turner I knew this was "the" place to get the kittens. Jane’s knowledge and care in testing her breeding cats for the HCM disease was similar to passion I have to eliminate the DM disease in the German Shepherd. I thank Jane for entrusting me with these wonderful “kittens” and for her continued guidance and friendship throughout my breeding program. These bloodlines and temperaments are truly excellent and I am very proud to be able to offer them in preservation of this lovely breed of cat- The Maine Coon.

These are some pictures of the cats out and about in everyday life . The thing I enjoy about them the most is their amazing personalities which are as big as their size. They are wonderfully gentle and graceful cats.
They are truly the cats for people who love dogs... I can vouch for that ! ....and trainable too !
I hope you will love them as much as I do !
